Assistant Branch Manager (Automotive Recycling)

Location: On-site at 2905 Bd Saint-Michel, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The schedule is to be discussed, with availability required for one weekend out of two.

Salary: Competitive salary plus annual bonus.

Kenny U-Pull is an automotive recycling business and a division of American Iron & Metal, operating recycling centers across Canada.

What you will do

• Supervise and participate in daily branch operations in an outdoor, physical, and sometimes dirty environment.
• Manage and support employees while promoting a welcoming and safe workplace.
• Enforce environmental and Health & Safety procedures and assist with monthly audits.
• Coordinate schedules and support the achievement of sales and production targets.
• Handle administrative activities including cash deposits, payroll, schedules, communications, and performance evaluations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee integration, business process implementation, and organizational change initiatives.

Requirements

• At least three years of customer service experience.
• At least one year of management experience.
• College or university degree.
• Strong communication, delegation, follow-up, problem-solving, collaboration, time management, prioritization, and employee support skills.
• Availability to work one weekend out of two.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail or the automotive sector.
• French and English bilingualism.
