Ops Manager ES - Canada (Environmental Waste)

Location: Tilbury, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $101,600–$139,700 annually; 20% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations at the assigned location and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient performance.
• Supervise employees and supervisors, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Provide technical support, evaluate sites, prepare scopes of work and estimates, and improve workflow and project management.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, monitor performance metrics, and control operating costs.
• Coordinate with governmental and regulatory agencies and support license and permit renewals, amendments, and expansions.
• Maintain facility infrastructure, protect company assets, and ensure customer expectations for quality and service are met.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste management and complex environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial safety, industrial hygiene, and hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical aptitude skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
