Senior Manager, Strategic Funds (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, Australia; at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Lead annual planning and pipeline development for strategic fund deployment across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
• Assess initiative eligibility, manage governance and approvals, and prepare recommendations for relevant forums.
• Monitor funding utilisation, delivery progress, risks, milestones, expiry dates and portfolio outcomes.
• Coordinate stakeholders across local markets, the Singapore Hub, Sales, Finance, Strategy and Product.
• Develop dashboards and provide portfolio, deal and commercial insights to support prioritisation.
• Streamline monitoring and reporting through automation and AI.

Requirements

• Experience in strategy, business operations, finance, financial planning, program management or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpretation of financial and operational data.
• Experience managing governance, approvals, controls and reporting in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, process discipline, sound judgement and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with common accounting principles.
• Experience in financial services, payments or technology-led commercial environments.
• Experience in regional or matrixed organisations.
• Experience adapting global reporting frameworks to local market needs.
