TL;DR
Full-Stack Software Engineer II (Java/Salesforce): Developing and maintaining Java applications and Salesforce configurations for a Federal Housing Administration program with an accent on AWS microservices, PostgreSQL, and cross-layer integration. Focus on testing and troubleshooting application changes, coordinating agile delivery, and maintaining code and configuration quality through Git and peer reviews.
Location: 100% remote for U.S.-based candidates; availability required during core business hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain Java application code.
- Contribute to Salesforce configuration and development within a full-stack sprint team.
- Test and troubleshoot changes across backend, database, AWS, and Salesforce layers.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, delivery coordination, Git workflows, and peer reviews.
- Document code and configuration changes for ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 5+ years, or associate degree with 9+ years.
- Hands-on Java software development experience.
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration or development experience.
- Eligibility to complete the Public Trust background investigation and receive a favorable suitability determination.
Nice to have
- Salesforce development experience beyond configuration.
- AWS environment experience.
- Experience with Git, peer code reviews, federal programs, mortgage-related fields, or federal clearance processes.
