Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Build and operate production-grade enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design clean RESTful APIs and microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and observability.
• Develop front-end applications with React and integrate them with backend services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas and queries.
• Deploy applications to major cloud platforms and work with managed services, networking, and identity primitives.
• Debug production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document technical findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional software development experience; 11+ years is listed for the position.
• Advanced knowledge of Java 11 or 17, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and end-to-end system design.
• Professional experience with React, SQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, Git workflows, code reviews, release management, and at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable event-streaming platforms.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and test-driven or behavior-driven development.
• Familiarity with Angular or Vue.
