Fullstack Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Ostrava, or Brno, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java backend services deployed on AWS Fargate and Lambda.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other relational database solutions.
• Design and implement APIs for frontend applications.
• Improve application performance and security.
• Contribute to agile development and collaborate with internal and customer teams.
• Occasionally support frontend development with React.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and backend development.
• Experience with AWS, especially Fargate and Lambda.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience designing and developing APIs.
• Understanding of application performance and security, plus experience in an Agile environment.
• Fluent Czech or Slovak language required.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and frontend development.
