Software Engineer (Intermediate)

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and document complex web applications.
• Build and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot, alongside responsive Angular interfaces.
• Develop, deploy, and integrate applications with AWS cloud services.
• Design, write, and consume RESTful APIs for communication between system components.
• Modernize legacy applications into secure, scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Test, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications while contributing to Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field and 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience, with proficiency in Angular, HTML5, CSS, and Node.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud services and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Must be a US citizen and possess an active CompTIA Security+ / IAT Level II certification.
• Must possess a SECRET security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Nice to have

• SQL experience with a major database such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with API design and documentation using JSON or OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with Git and experience with vulnerability analysis and remediation.
