Test Engineer III / Quality Lead (Salesforce)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; availability required during core business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

What you will do

• Lead release-cycle testing and provide quality guidance to two testers across two development teams.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated API and UI tests using Gherkin/Cucumber or comparable approaches.
• Perform hands-on testing, investigate defects, verify changes, and troubleshoot integration and user acceptance testing issues.
• Own release test plans, test-results documentation, test data generation, and quality-risk reporting.
• Coach testers, improve testing processes, and expand automation coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 5+ years, or associate degree with 9+ years.
• Hands-on experience with automated API and UI testing.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and development, AWS environments, Java, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience leading testing, owning test plans and results, coaching testers, and remaining hands-on.
• Must be eligible to complete the federal background investigation required for a Public Trust position and receive a favorable suitability determination.

• Jira dashboards for quality reporting or release documentation.
• Postman or other API testing tools.
• Git and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Experience supporting federal programs, mortgage, or related fields.
• Previous federal background investigation or clearance experience.
