Quality Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Paris, France (75002). Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Design comprehensive test cases from product requirements and user stories.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate product quality and functionality.
• Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts for scalable testing.
• Lead collaboration between product managers and developers on quality and testability requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects in Jira.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Engineering or Master’s degree and 7 years of experience in technical QA or development.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, PactumJS, Jest, Postman, or Cucumber; Cypress or RestAssured experience is valued.
• Solid knowledge of BDD and familiarity with Xray or similar test management tools.
• Good knowledge of GitLab CI or similar CI/CD workflows.
• Fluent English and French are essential for daily collaboration with local and US-based QA peers.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce testing.
• Familiarity with AI tools for improving testing efficiency.
