Desktop Support Technician (Office 365)

Location: Shafter, California, United States; onsite support for office and field end users

Salary: $21–$25 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Create, resolve, escalate, document, follow up on, and close service desk tickets.
• Monitor, document, repair, and support IT devices, applications, and services.
• Apply device security patches and remediation measures.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and support the full hardware and software lifecycle.
• Apply deployment standards and ensure compliance.
• Provide professional technical support to office and field users.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of hands-on IT hardware and software user support experience.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
• Experience supporting computers, mobile devices, telecommunications, printers, infrastructure devices, and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of IP networking basics, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and VLANs.
• Experience with device imaging and policy software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Office 365, plus strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Associate or advanced degree in computer science or a technical discipline.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
