Research Associate (RNA Delivery)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; onsite role

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year in total compensation, including bonus

What you will do

• Develop novel lipid nanoparticle formulations for RNA delivery.
• Prepare formulations and perform characterization assays and data analysis.
• Support the development of in vitro formulation characterization assays.
• Contribute to writing and reviewing analytical method protocols.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate scientific findings.
• Monitor supply inventory and maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in nucleic acid delivery, including hands-on lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to contribute in a supportive, learning-oriented team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Redmond, Washington, United States.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with messenger RNA.
• Experience implementing RNA-related analytics such as RiboGreen, gel electrophoresis, and capillary electrophoresis.
