Advanced Research Associate - Manufacturing (Molecular Assays)

What you will do

• Formulate reagents according to manufacturing protocols and support end-to-end production of finished kits.
• Run functional tests, review results against specifications, and perform raw-material inspection, testing, and release.
• Fill, label, package, rework, and stability-test reagents according to work instructions.
• Maintain manufacturing quality through accurate documentation, non-conformance and deviation records, and verification of completed work.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and validation while maintaining inventory and performing laboratory upkeep.
• Resolve moderately complex technical issues, support cross-functional projects, and implement process and procedure improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Experience setting up and analyzing molecular assays; PCR, CE, qPCR, and NGS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, ISO, CE, or other regulated environments, as well as lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, and ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
• Must have United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially QAD.
