Technical Recruiter (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Torrance, California, in the Los Angeles area. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Salary: $90,000–$150,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead hiring-manager kickoff meetings, define requisitions, and advise on recruiting and interview processes.
• Source, engage, nurture, and close passive technical talent for critical roles.
• Partner with hiring teams and leadership on role profiles, market dynamics, and candidate strategy.
• Build talent maps and analyze recruiting data and metrics to improve hiring effectiveness.
• Collaborate on employer-branding initiatives and future intern and university recruiting programs.
• Provide a high-touch experience for candidates and internal stakeholders while maintaining active pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience in aerospace or technology.
• Proven success sourcing, closing, and placing candidates in technical roles.
• Strong understanding of technical skills, terminology, industry trends, and competitive hiring markets.
• Ability to work directly with hiring managers and company leaders, manage multiple searches, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work onsite at the Torrance, California headquarters.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under export regulations.

• Experience recruiting for a startup or niche hardware engineering roles.
• Experience scaling teams while maintaining a high technical hiring bar.
• Experience operating effectively without large teams or mature infrastructure.
