Technical Recruiter (Defense Contract)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3–4 days onsite at the El Segundo office in Los Angeles, California, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annual base compensation

What you will do

• Partner with the Recruiting Lead, hiring managers, and stakeholders to define role requirements, team needs, and hiring goals.
• Own full-cycle recruiting from initial screening through offer for technical and business-critical positions.
• Build talent pipelines through research, referrals, networking events, sourcing campaigns, and external recruiting agencies.
• Recruit across software, hardware, systems engineering, manufacturing, operations, and G&A functions.
• Track and analyze pipeline metrics, maintain data integrity, and provide hiring insights.
• Deliver a proactive candidate experience while improving recruiting workflows and strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical or engineering roles.
• Proven success closing candidates for complex or hard-to-fill technical positions.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders on role scoping, pipeline strategy, and candidate evaluation.
• Strong understanding of software, hardware, systems, or manufacturing engineering skill sets.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and pipelines with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, recruiting metrics, and structured interview practices; Greenhouse is preferred.

• Experience recruiting in defense, aerospace, government, advanced manufacturing, or another regulated technical environment.
• Experience supporting early-stage or high-growth companies.
• Experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Pave, or Asana.
• Independent, resilient, and creative approach to changing hiring needs.
