Technical Recruiter (AI)

What you will do

• Define technical role requirements, align on hiring standards, and present calibrated candidate slates.
• Map talent across developer tools, infrastructure, and security companies through outreach, referrals, and open source communities.
• Run fast, rigorous interviews and guide candidates through offer negotiation and closing.
• Track recruiting funnel metrics and improve hiring processes based on the data.
• Use and build AI tools for sourcing, outreach, and screening while maintaining candidate experience.
• Shape recruitment marketing and nurture campaigns for technical talent.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth startups.
• Demonstrated success hiring for niche and competitive technical talent markets through personal outreach.
• Technical literacy in infrastructure, distributed systems, and developer tooling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and bias toward action.
• Experience with Ashby.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or security companies.
• Experience building recruiting processes and systems from the ground up.
• Hands-on coding experience or experience building AI tools for recruiting.
• Familiarity with open source communities and developer-led hiring channels.
• Previous founder or startup experience.
