Head of Talent (AI)

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting across all departments and personally source, assess, and close exceptional talent.
• Translate company goals, mission, and culture into hiring priorities, candidate profiles, and search strategies.
• Build a talent roadmap supporting growth from approximately 30 to 70–100 employees over the next 6–12 months.
• Design structured interviews, scorecards, decision frameworks, recruiting metrics, and pipeline visibility for more than 60 hires per year.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers on candidate strategy, leveling, offer construction, and hiring decisions.
• Manage recruiting resources and partners while strengthening the employer brand.

Requirements

• 10+ years of recruiting experience, including ownership of a recruiting function in a high-growth company.
• Successful hiring of technical talent across infrastructure, distributed systems, AI/ML, cloud, or developer tools.
• Hands-on experience sourcing and closing candidates, in addition to managing recruiting operations.
• Experience building or significantly improving recruiting processes, systems, and metrics.
• Ability to understand complex technology and engage credibly with senior technical candidates.
• Strong judgment, data-driven decision-making, constructive leadership challenge, and ownership in fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience at a neocloud, hyperscaler, AI lab, GPU cloud, or infrastructure company.
• Experience as the first or an early Talent hire at a venture-backed startup.
• A strong network across AI and infrastructure talent.
