Supplier Engineer Change Management (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA; relocation is not available; travel required 25% of the time

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year

What you will do

• Develop and manage supplier assessment plans, schedules, deliverables, and project resources.
• Lead supplier change management assessments, including self-assessments, document reviews, risk evaluations, audits, and onsite validations.
• Analyze supplier processes, identify risks and gaps, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Track corrective actions through closure and ensure sustainable implementation.
• Prepare assessment reports, executive summaries, dashboards, metrics, and stakeholder reviews.
• Maintain assessment methodologies, records, analytics, training materials, and enterprise reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, materials science, supply chain, operations, quality, or a related technical field.
• 7–10 years of experience in technical program management, supplier engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting supplier assessments, audits, compliance reviews, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier management, change control, and risk management.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience with project management and analytics tools such as JIRA, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Familiarity with PCN, ECN/ECO, CAPA, supplier quality systems, and process maturity evaluations.
• PMP, CQA, ISO Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, CMQ/OE, CQE, or related certifications.
