People & Culture Business Partner

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with four days in the office each week in most locations

Total annual cash compensation: $121,400–$186,150, including base salary and target incentive.

What you will do

• Build trusted partnerships with leaders and teams, advising on people-related opportunities and challenges.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, talent needs, team effectiveness, and future growth.
• Coach managers and employees on development, performance, recognition, career growth, and employee relations.
• Coordinate expertise across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, Immigration, and Employee Relations.
• Implement global People & Culture programs while adapting them to business-unit needs.
• Support engagement, organizational change, continuous improvement, and effective navigation of complex workplace issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organizational psychology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a business partner.
• Experience advising managers on performance management, employee development, engagement, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and workforce planning.
• Ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, own outcomes, and solve problems analytically.
• Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global or matrixed organizations.
• Experience partnering with People & Culture Centers of Excellence.
• Experience leading organizational change, engagement, or talent initiatives.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
