Director, People Advisory Partners (Product and Technology)

Location: Bellevue or Seattle, United States

Base salary: $137,300–$251,800 USD per year, plus potential stock-based and variable compensation.

What you will do

• Own the people agenda for Product and Technology organizations and align priorities with senior business leaders.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, role clarity, leadership capacity, succession, staffing, and team effectiveness.
• Coach managers on performance expectations, feedback, career development, promotions, and difficult conversations.
• Support organizational change, retention efforts, internal mobility, and development planning.
• Coordinate support across People Solutions, Talent, Total Rewards, People Analytics, People Systems, Talent Acquisition, and Employment Legal.
• Manage and develop one People Advisory Partner while handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial partnership with Product, Engineering, or other technical organizations.
• Experience managing and developing HR talent and partnering directly with senior business leaders.
• Strong expertise in organizational design, talent planning, performance management, and employee relations.
• Experience supporting organizational change and working across regions in a global organization.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices across multiple jurisdictions and experience partnering with Employment Legal.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, with strong communication, coaching, influencing, analytical, and judgment skills.
