Technical Program Builder (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Annual salary: $184,000–$276,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Assess R&D operational processes and identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and tooling.
• Build automated agents, scripts, and low-code integrations across Jira or Linear, Slack, and GSuite.
• Architect and deploy an R&D knowledge base and Internal Developer Portal optimized for human and AI retrieval.
• Standardize R&D operations and lead a quarterly OKR and planning cycle as the single source of truth for the roadmap.
• Improve project health and velocity visibility while reducing planning overhead through automation.
• Partner with R&D leaders and pod leads to identify bottlenecks and implement AI/ML-enabled operational standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or a related engineering role.
• Experience building custom AI agents or using LLM APIs for productivity and automation.
• Experience managing comprehensive planning cycles and OKR processes for technical teams.
• Experience with project management and documentation platforms such as Jira, Linear, Notion, or Confluence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

• Strong understanding of Developer Experience metrics.
• Background in software engineering or data analysis.
• Agile or project management certification such as PMP or CSM.
• Experience in a high-growth technology environment.
• Health tech experience and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
