Annotation Program Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end quality, speed, and efficiency for a portfolio of annotation programs.
• Partner with researchers to define and refine data requirements, rubrics, and annotation goals.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational issues and building scalable solutions.
• Coordinate technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including vendor partners, researchers, and operations teams.
• Balance strategic problem solving with hands-on execution across multiple programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, technical project management, consulting, startup operations, or a similar field.
• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills, including diagnosing problems with incomplete information.
• Understanding of model training and evaluation, with strong intuition for data quality and research needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clarify nuance and structure complex information.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple programs and balancing competing needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML or AI data annotation.
• Experience with robotics, egocentric video, or multimodal sensor data.
• Experience using coding agents to address tooling or infrastructure gaps.
