Senior Principal, Enterprise Identity & Access Management Architect (IAM)

Location: Bloomfield, CT, United States; occasional or permanent home working may be supported subject to a cable broadband or fiber connection of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Salary: $174,800–$291,300 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Define and lead enterprise IAM strategy, architecture, standards, governance, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Establish identity governance, authentication, authorization, privileged access, access review, and segregation-of-duties standards.
• Lead IAM modernization, implementation, migration, and transformation programs across cloud, on-premises, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
• Advise cybersecurity, technology, risk, compliance, business, and executive leaders on identity security and technology investments.
• Advance Zero Trust, passwordless authentication, adaptive access, privileged access management, and AI-enabled security capabilities.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and technical leaders while guiding complex identity integrations and organizational change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, identity management, enterprise architecture, or a related field, including 8+ years leading enterprise IAM architecture, strategy, or transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of IAM, Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, Customer IAM, and Zero Trust.
• Experience with CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos, FIDO2, API security, directory services, identity federation, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, infrastructure-as-code, automation, AI-enabled security capabilities, and executive-level communication.
