Director, Identity and Access Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. Visa sponsorship and support for H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT are not available.

Annual base salary: $139,400–$230,000, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Architect, implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-scale SailPoint IdentityNow solutions.
• Oversee connector development, SaaS integrations, identity lifecycle automation, and joiner-mover-leaver workflows.
• Lead role engineering, role mining, RBAC design, and access certification campaigns.
• Own the IAM support model, including incident response, escalation paths, SLAs, RCA, and permanent remediation.
• Manage SailPoint upgrades, patching, platform health monitoring, documentation, KPIs, KRIs, and access anomaly reporting.
• Lead Agile/Scrum delivery, team capacity planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and 24/7 on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of IAM experience, 5 years of hands-on SailPoint experience, and 3 years in a leadership role.
• At least 5 years of experience in information technology security engineering or software engineering.
• SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer or IdentityIQ Architect certification.
• Expertise in IGA, SSO/Federation, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, Zero Trust, identity protocols, enterprise directories, cloud computing, and automation.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
