Maintenance Technician (52434)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, USA; on-site property maintenance required

Salary: Up to $25 per hour, plus a complimentary one-bedroom apartment

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames and turn over apartments within five days of move-out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems in line with health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, lock, door, and building systems.
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces and perform manual repairs.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, suppression systems, alarms, building systems, work performed, and materials procured.
• Keep the property clean and safe and participate in technical, safety, and operational training.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• High school diploma required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, strong time management, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work on call for emergencies.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as HVAC or CMRP.
