Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Savannah, GA, with service coverage in St. Marys, GA; field work on ladders, roofs, and in varied weather conditions. New-hire training requires a one-week course at the R&D facility in Pennsylvania and travel.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year based on experience, plus monthly productivity and profit bonuses, overtime potential, and a $2,000 signing bonus.

What you will do

• Commission hirify.global equipment by testing airflow, product functions, installations, and physical equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Develop and perform preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose system issues.
• Communicate system status, repairs, and maintenance recommendations to facility managers, property owners, and colleagues.
• Follow EPA regulations and company safety standards in this safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong understanding of single- and three-phase electrical systems, commercial wiring schematics, and refrigeration cycles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and work on ladders, roofs, in tight spaces, and in varied weather conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, verbal and written communication, and safety awareness.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
