Floating Maintenance Technician (Commercial Buildings)

Location: Buena Park, California, USA; properties throughout Orange County, Redondo Beach, and Los Angeles. On-site travel between multiple properties is required, with on-call emergency coverage.

Salary: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames and document completed work and materials procurement.
• Survey commercial buildings and repair mechanical systems to maintain health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, lock, door, window, and access-control systems.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, and other building systems.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal while keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Participate in technical, safety, and operational training and respond to on-call emergencies.

Requirements

• At least one year of maintenance technician experience in retail, mall, or industrial buildings.
• Ability to travel between multiple properties as needed in the assigned service area.
• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• High school diploma.

Nice to have

• Additional relevant certification, such as electrical certification or CMRP.
