Window/Door Journeyman Installer

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site

Salary: $24–$26 per hour, plus potential monthly bonus

What you will do

• Install residential windows, entry doors, patio doors, storm doors, and related products as part of an installation crew.
• Complete advanced flashing, waterproofing, finish work, and other installation steps with limited supervision.
• Assess jobsites, identify potential challenges, and troubleshoot common installation issues.
• Perform service work, punch-list items, warranty repairs, and project completion documentation.
• Communicate with customers, maintain a safe and clean jobsite, and care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with mentoring junior and senior apprentices on installation techniques.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of residential window and door installation practices.
• Understanding of building codes, flashing systems, waterproofing, and structural requirements.
• Ability to perform advanced installation work and operate power tools safely.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common installation challenges independently.
• Ability to read work orders, construction drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong customer service, communication, time management, and safety skills.
