Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Quality Systems): Supporting assembly and scroll machining projects through the design, qualification, and continuous improvement of quality systems and gauging processes with an accent on CMM programming, measurement accuracy, and manufacturing efficiency. Focus on integrating inspection systems, performing capability studies and gage R&R, resolving production quality issues, and deploying manufacturing technology across HVACR plants.
Location: Fully onsite in Sidney, Ohio, USA; not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

What you will do
- Lead quality systems projects and participate in multifunctional teams to design, procure, and qualify equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Install and qualify quality systems, perform capability studies, and conduct gage R&R for assembly and machining processes.
- Program part inspection systems, including CMMs, using manual methods and 3D CAD models in simulated virtual environments.
- Design and implement new gauging methodologies to improve accuracy, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Train technical personnel and provide production support for inspection-system issues.
- Identify corrective actions and develop temporary and permanent solutions for manufacturing quality problems while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, quality, or industrial engineering, or at least two years of relevant manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
- Understanding of GD&T principles and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple quality systems projects and travel up to 25%.
- Digital literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
Nice to have
- Five years of manufacturing experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, machining, assembly, and process control.
- Experience with PC-DMIS or MODUS CMM programming and automated closed-loop quality systems.
- Experience with database analytics and 2D/3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD or NX.
