Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, and project plans.
• Improve production processes with Lean tools such as Kaizen and 5S, optimizing layouts, material flow, and waste reduction.
• Support CAPEX requests, justify investments, and implement new production equipment.
• Design and develop fixtures that support production and improve quality.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective solutions.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders, maintain manufacturing documentation, and mentor manufacturing engineering technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab, MRP/ERP systems such as JD Edwards, and PLM systems such as Enovia.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
