SQA Automation Engineer

Salary: $77,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Participate in requirements reviews, test-plan development, and validation of product designs and engineering solutions.
• Design and implement test plans, schedules, and requirements for new and existing subsystems.
• Build testing tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and test apparatuses using provided specifications.
• Monitor yield data, identify product and test issues, and implement continuous test enhancements.
• Work with senior engineers on root-cause remediation for hardware, equipment, and device issues.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced testing and development partners while preparing reports and recommendations.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in debugging, validation, or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience may be considered.
• Experience with software testing, test automation, test engineering, test planning, scripting, and debugging.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, Selenium, Jenkins, JIRA, SQL, Agile, and Scrum.
• Ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, exercise judgment, and collaborate with engineering stakeholders.
