Systems Administrator (Intermediate-Level)

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage, and infrastructure services.
• Perform patch management, configuration management, backup and recovery operations using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup, and HPE StoreOnce.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, vulnerability remediation, and systems hardening.
• Collaborate with networking, cybersecurity, engineering, application teams, and government customers to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is required, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
• At least four years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, server maintenance, patching, backup and recovery, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms, plus enterprise monitoring and performance-tuning tools.
• Baseline certification must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 or later, PowerShell, VMware, Linux, and cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with ACAS, Nessus, Retina, vulnerability management, DoD environments, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
