Systems Administrator (Senior-Level)

Location: Orlando, FL, USA; non-remote. Relocation incentive available.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the administration, security, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Design and manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, storage, and cloud environments.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, technology refresh, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Manage patching, configuration, system hardening, cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability remediation, and backup operations.
• Develop PowerShell automation, monitor system performance and reliability, and maintain technical documentation and architecture standards.
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, stakeholder guidance, and mentorship to junior administrators.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher required, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
• Eight or more years of experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, VMware or Hyper-V, PowerShell, enterprise backup platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading modernization, disaster recovery, business continuity, complex troubleshooting, technical documentation, and administrator mentoring.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Microsoft certifications for Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux, ACAS, Nessus, Retina, DoD environments, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
