Staff HR Business Partner (AI)

Location: Remote, based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Employment is contingent upon eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

What you will do

• Partner directly with senior leaders across North American teams on people and organizational matters.
• Lead organizational design, leveling, performance management, calibration, and promotion decisions.
• Run investigations, reorganizations, and sensitive employee exits.
• Diagnose root causes of organizational problems, including unclear roles, handoffs, and decision rights.
• Help leaders navigate difficult conversations and reach decisions that support broader team outcomes.
• Contribute to building scalable People function systems and practices.

Requirements

• Experience partnering directly with VP-level leaders and supporting a full function or large organization.
• Hands-on experience with investigations, calibration cycles, reorganizations, and sensitive employee matters.
• Ability to challenge senior leaders constructively and support implementation of resulting decisions.
• Ability to understand technical products and incorporate that context into people decisions.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada and eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting sales, go-to-market, or operations teams.
• Experience at a company with several hundred to several thousand employees.
