Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite field construction role

Salary: USD 85,000–175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily field construction activities from mobilization through project turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, craft personnel, vendors, field staff, project teams, and client stakeholders.
• Manage construction scopes valued at approximately $2 million to $50 million or more.
• Develop construction plans, sequencing strategies, look-ahead schedules, and schedule commitments.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents while resolving field issues.
• Drive Lean Construction, constructability reviews, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Science, or equivalent construction experience.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Experience managing mid-sized to large-scale construction scopes and leading field teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, sequencing, constructability, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with construction technology, project management software, mobile field applications, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Design-Build project experience.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction.
• Experience with PlanGrid, VDC platforms, and other construction technology tools.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping, automation, instrumentation and controls, or other technical construction disciplines.
• Experience leading multiple discipline teams and mentoring field personnel.
