Engineering Technician III (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; on-site work involving semiconductor manufacturing equipment and cleanroom operations.

Salary: $29.00–$39.60 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Create logbooks, test procedures, and other engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate equipment such as forklifts when required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in cleanroom environments while using required personal protective equipment.
