Manufacturing Technician

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite cleanroom and production-floor work. Schedule: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., with overtime when needed.

Salary: $24–$27 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Operate high-vacuum metal sputtering, PECVD, wet etch, and other processing equipment.
• Set up fixtures, de-fixture parts, and execute planned work-in-process according to instructions and schedules.
• Monitor product and tool quality, perform visual and metrology-based inspections, and report deviations.
• Perform tool refreshes and basic equipment maintenance according to run schedules.
• Record work confirmations and production or inspection data in SAP and CamLine.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, documentation, and shift pass-down standards while collaborating with Leads, Supervisors, Engineers, and production partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience; machine operation experience is beneficial.
• Fluent English required for training, documentation, communication, and writing.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom and around chemicals, including IPA, acetone, FeCl, and HCl.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for most of the shift.
• Computer skills required; SAP and CamLine experience is beneficial. Flexibility to cross-train in other departments is expected.
