Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States — 3 days per week in the company office and 2 days per week from home.

Salary: $186,160–$195,468 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for AI-powered workforce solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers in an Agile delivery environment.
• Perform peer code reviews, monitor product health, and respond to product alerts.
• Analyze use cases and data, resolve issues autonomously, and maintain a secure, resilient, high-quality product.
• Participate in strategic and operational planning while improving delivery processes and minimizing technical debt.
• Mentor peers and support the growth of their technical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus 6 years of Software Engineering experience, or a master’s degree plus 4 years of experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with full-stack enterprise application development.
• Expertise with Angular, AngularJS, Webpack, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Java.
• Experience building modular applications with Micro Frontends, Web Components, and native cloud applications.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, project leadership, estimation, requirements, test design, and automated test coverage.
• Experience building responsive, cross-browser, cross-platform, and accessibility-aware applications.
