Manager, Process Improvement Transformation Specialist (AI)

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Partner with business and technology leaders to understand complex end-to-end processes, including systems, decisions, controls, handoffs, exceptions, and client impacts.
• Facilitate process-discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, observations, and working sessions across operations, technology, risk, finance, and business teams.
• Create process maps, service blueprints, swim-lane diagrams, journey maps, decision trees, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze process data and feedback to identify bottlenecks, manual workarounds, rework, productivity opportunities, and potential benefits.
• Design future-state workflows and evaluate appropriate applications of AI, automation, workflow tools, analytics, knowledge management, and decision support.
• Translate recommendations into requirements, user stories, business rules, workplans, executive materials, pilots, testing, rollout readiness, training, and adoption measurement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, transformation, operations, business analysis, or process improvement; experience managing process improvement or engineering projects is valuable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, operations, finance, industrial engineering, information systems, analytics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to map and analyze end-to-end business processes.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to prepare leadership-ready summaries and presentations.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and process-mapping or diagramming tools, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Leadership experience, preferably in a consulting environment, plus sound judgment and attention to detail when handling process, client, financial, and operational information.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, design thinking, Agile delivery, business process management, or continuous-improvement methods.
• Operations consulting experience, including end-to-end process redesign and operational improvement.
• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, automation platforms, knowledge-management solutions, or AI-enabled workflow tools.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, B2B services, enterprise software, shared services, billing operations, or client operations.
