Senior Manager, Communications (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $132,000–$155,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Advise enterprise and functional leaders on internal communications strategies and execution.
• Lead communications supporting employee engagement, employer branding, talent, culture, and company values across internal and external channels.
• Develop communications for acquired-company integrations, organizational changes, People/HR campaigns, and employee incidents.
• Own the editorial strategy and monthly company newsletter, including intranet publishing governance.
• Support executive communications in partnership with the Office of the CEO and Chief People Officer.
• Develop town hall content, manage speakers, and support event production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of public relations and communications experience, including in-house experience at a mid-sized or large company.
• Experience leading or supporting internal communications programs and multi-stakeholder communications initiatives.
• Experience securing earned media coverage and working directly with journalists; professional journalism experience is also considered.
• Strong business, creative, and editorial writing skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Experience using AI for content creation and improving communications planning, processes, and workflows.
