Manager, Global Communications (Fintech)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $129,200–$206,700 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Support communications initiatives across Business, Brand, and Technology Communications.
• Develop and execute integrated communications plans for business priorities, announcements, programs, and events.
• Draft and edit employee communications, leadership messages, presentations, talking points, FAQs, articles, announcements, and external content.
• Support executive communications, speaking engagements, thought leadership, employee engagement programs, town halls, and organizational announcements.
• Manage multiple communications workstreams, deadlines, milestones, vendors, agencies, and budgets.
• Coordinate with global communications colleagues and partners across marketing, product, legal, human resources, and business teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• 5–8 years of communications, public relations, or media relations experience.
• Experience in a communications or public relations agency environment.
• Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with media relations campaigns, earned media coverage, communications measurement, and senior-leader engagement.
• Must work from the United States and attend the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week.

• Established relationships with business, financial, technology, consumer, and trade media.
• Experience with digital platforms, newsletters, Substack, podcasts, X, and creator-led channels.
• Financial services, fintech, technology, or payments industry experience.
• Experience managing agency relationships and budgets.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and trends shaping commerce.
