Communications Specialist

Location: Remote; up to 10% travel as needed

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Develop and implement communication strategies supporting organizational objectives, business priorities, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs and create timely, audience-focused messaging.
• Create, edit, and distribute communications through email, intranet, presentations, digital platforms, meetings, and other channels.
• Translate complex or technical information into clear, accessible content while maintaining a consistent organizational voice.
• Coordinate communication initiatives, advise stakeholders, monitor effectiveness, and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in professional communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, storytelling, and content development skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate or professional services communications, organizational change, employee communications, or marketing communications.
