Senior Communications Manager (Healthcare IT)

Location: Holmdel, New Jersey, United States. Hybrid work with offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Holmdel, New Jersey; and Verona, Italy.

Base salary: $125,000–$135,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own the external PR agency relationship, including priorities, briefings, media pitches, approvals, and performance accountability.
• Lead press releases, media statements, executive messaging, and public company announcements.
• Develop and manage the always-on social media content calendar across platforms.
• Coordinate media outreach, press inquiries, speaking opportunities, awards, launches, conferences, and customer stories.
• Engage customers to gather stories and quotes, build advocacy opportunities, and grow the customer community.
• Track PR and social performance, turn results into strategic insights, and mentor or manage a communications coordinator when applicable.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in social media management, corporate communications, or public relations with increasing strategic ownership.
• Experience managing an external PR or communications agency relationship.
• Strong writing and editing skills across executive communications, social copy, and press materials.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and translate business priorities into external messaging.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and engaging directly with customers.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution skills.

Nice to have

• Healthcare, healthcare IT, or health tech experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory, clinical, or payer landscapes.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or a mission-driven organization.
