Pump Mechanic I (Oil & Gas)

Location: Midland, Texas, United States. Onsite role with approximately 5% field travel; relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $28.45–$38.10 per hour, with starting pay of $28.45 per hour and potential adjustment based on experience.

What you will do

• Assemble, service, maintain, evaluate, repair, and install reciprocating plunger pumps.
• Clean, strip, dismantle, inspect, and prepare pump components for detailed evaluation.
• Troubleshoot pumps and related equipment to determine repair needs and root causes.
• Use measuring equipment and follow standard operating procedures and risk assessments.
• Transport pumps and parts between machine and test shops and keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean.
• Follow safety policies, use required PPE, and support an exemplary safety culture.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment and experience as a pump mechanic.
• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations in the past 12 months and no more than three in the past three years.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, outdoor weather, and moderate noise.
• Ability to wear protective footwear and other required PPE.
