Director, Global Compensation (AI)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite four days per week. The role is expected to start in January 2027.

Base pay range for the SF Bay Area: $200,300–$293,810 USD annually. The role may also include variable compensation and/or equity.

What you will do

• Lead the design, administration, governance, and evolution of global broad-based compensation programs.
• Own global job architecture, including job families, levels, career structures, and compensation frameworks.
• Lead annual merit and bonus planning cycles, coordinating with HR Operations, HRIS, Finance, and HR Business Partners.
• Direct pay equity analysis, remediation, pay transparency support, and compensation compliance activities.
• Advise senior HR and business leaders on market competitiveness, internal equity, affordability, and employee impact.
• Lead and develop the broad-based Compensation team while improving processes, controls, decision rights, and scalability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including significant leadership of global broad-based compensation programs.
• Experience designing and managing compensation programs in a large, complex, global organization.
• Experience leading and developing compensation professionals.
• Strong analytical, business judgment, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to work onsite in the Sunnyvale office four days per week.

Nice to have

• CCP or another relevant professional certification.
• Experience with predictive analytics and responsible AI solutions in Total Rewards processes.
