Director, People Technology (HR Technology)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite at the San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters

Salary: $207,500–$276,700 per year

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts supporting People functions.
• Set the HR technology vision, roadmap, delivery standards, and execution approach across the full technology lifecycle.
• Oversee requirements discovery, process analysis, functional design, testing, implementation, and post-launch optimization.
• Partner with People, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify priorities, resolve ambiguity, and drive solution decisions.
• Lead process simplification, standardization, automation, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and developing Business Systems or HRIS Analysts.
• Deep expertise in requirements management, process design, functional solution design, testing, implementation, optimization, governance, and user enablement.
• Strong understanding of enterprise HR technology, HR processes, SaaS systems architecture, integrations, and data quality.
• Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM and ServiceNow.
• Experience delivering multi-year technology roadmaps and balancing short-term improvements with long-term transformation.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with emerging technologies such as AI.
• Experience working in shared HR and IT ownership models for configuration and administration.
