Commission Analyst (AI/Automation)

What you will do

• Manage monthly and quarterly sales commission calculations, validation, closing, and payouts.
• Administer complex global commission plans and maintain participant data in Xactly, including hires, terminations, leave, role changes, hierarchies, and VOTE.
• Configure, implement, and route commission plans in Xactly and load reconciled commission data.
• Analyze discrepancies and exceptions, explain commission calculations, and partner with Payroll to ensure accurate payments.
• Document commission processes, controls, procedures, and system requirements while supporting Xactly enhancements and testing.
• Build AI-enabled skills, automated workflows, and process improvements that reduce manual work and improve commission operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience administering sales commission plans, preferably with Xactly or a similar incentive compensation system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including investigating discrepancies and identifying root causes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for working with large datasets, performing analysis, and building reports.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, ownership, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Ability to explain complex commission calculations and processes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Xactly Incent, Salesforce/SFDC, and sales operations processes.
• Experience supporting global sales compensation across multiple countries or currencies.
• Experience creating AI agents, AI skills, prompts, automated workflows, or other AI-enabled business solutions.
