Data Center Operations Supervisor (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor data center technicians while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of server, storage, compute, and network infrastructure.
• Manage power cabling, fiber and optics labeling, structured cabling, inventory, and asset tracking.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and hardware intake and repair processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, provisioning, and cross-functional teams on network layouts and infrastructure solutions.
• Manage Jira operations tickets, improve MTTD and MTTR, provide on-call support, and respond to critical events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience with server, storage, compute, and network hardware.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure.
• Proven leadership experience in a data center or technical operations environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and work at elevated heights of up to 50 feet with safety gear.
• Availability for evening and weekend work, variable schedules, noise exposure, and annual post-employment background checks.

Nice to have

• Strong Linux skills, including shell navigation, file manipulation, permissions, and package installation.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience leading data center infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of copper and fiber structured cabling, power, and cooling concepts.
• Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
