Senior Technical Project Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC; hybrid work environment

What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives from scope definition through delivery, partnering with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Translate business strategy into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Build and manage prioritized backlogs, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and organize sprint goals and team capacity.
• Plan and coordinate releases in Jira and Airtable, securing sign-off for requirements, data contracts, and deployments.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, defects, and delivery progress while communicating impacts to clients and leadership.
• Improve delivery practices and tooling, support onboarding, and help allocate resources across initiatives.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of technical project management experience delivering software or technology initiatives.
• Experience in banking, credit, or lending environments; exposure to credit card, fraud prevention, collections, or lending strategy is valuable.
• Working knowledge of financial services regulations and their impact on technology delivery.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience and a Scrum certification such as CSM or PSM, earned or in progress.
• Proficiency with Jira and Airtable, plus experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation for technical audiences.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Decision Model and Notation (DMN).
