Senior Technical Project Manager (Digital Assets)

Location: New York, United States

Base salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year, plus discretionary annual target bonus, performance incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design roadmaps and execution plans for platform modernization and engineering program delivery.
• Lead migration roadmaps, sequencing plans, and cutover strategies for moving core services from legacy environments without disrupting financial operations.
• Direct large-scale migrations of PII, financial records, and historical transaction data into secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, data teams, security, product, legal, compliance, risk, and executive stakeholders.
• Review data schemas, API contracts, ETL pipelines, cloud storage designs, encryption, auditing, and access controls.
• Track delivery metrics, dependencies, risks, release processes, post-mortems, and continuous improvement across engineering tracks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Technical Program or Project Manager leading software engineering, platform modernization, or infrastructure integration projects.
• Experience delivering technical projects in regulated financial platforms and services, including fintech, capital markets, banking, or digital assets.
• Hands-on leadership of large-scale data migrations involving regulated datasets, PII, and financial transaction records.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; microservices, distributed databases, APIs, and data security frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Linear.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with M&A integrations, technical consolidation, migration, or system deprecation.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, AML/KYC, or PCI-DSS frameworks.
