Logistics Lead (12hr Day Shift)

Location: Wheeling, Illinois, United States; onsite, 12-hour day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

What you will do

• Coordinate daily distribution-floor activities and plan efficient loading-dock operations.
• Lead department safety efforts, shift meetings, training, and development activities.
• Offload and manage bulk materials, finished goods, inventory, and material flows.
• Coordinate with supply vendors and the dedicated onsite fleet to support operations.
• Resolve operational problems, participate in quality audits, and troubleshoot palletizer performance.
• Manage recyclables and pickup orders while driving improvement initiatives aligned with plant strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the department.
• Strong interpersonal, multitasking, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work using available information and sound judgment.
• Ability to use network computer applications and electronic mail.
• Successful completion of training identified on the Technology Matrix.
